Tower Tom, oil on canvas, 24″x”26″, 2019 is part of the “Street Family Memorials” series.
Tower Tom was well known in the Tower District of Fresno, California. He was constantly cleaning up the streets and alleys, considering the Tower to be his home.
The first phase of the portrait, a quick paint created in a hour, was used for a community vigil attended by family, friends, and others who knew him.
The painting was finished and displayed at his funeral in Central Fresno.
